This picture is a lot funnier if you had seen the one taken 25 years ago. Shawn and I posed for a similar picture in Fairbanks with a D10 Cat. Whatever that was. Somethings never change, I'm still the cute one.

Estes Park, CO. It's just beautiful there. Located somewhere up in the mountains, I believe south of Golden, CO.
We got to visit during the Octoberfest celebration which was kind of neat, a lot of people walking around a pretty small town. I don't think I will ever forget the menu that the local Rotorary Club had during the festivities; Bratwurst and sauerkraut, Baked Beans, and Nachos. Obviously they are budget conscious. It was still good, I mean they had beer too.

Kicking back on the porch of the Stanley Hotel enjoying the view.

So during our visit to Estes Park we encountered many Elk. They pretty much take over the town. This stud and his Hiram are chilling on the 9th hole of the local golf course. Although this guy was in the mood for some loving, the ladies didn't seem to care to much. Posted by Picasa
