Cooks Street School of Fine Foods, or something gay like that.

Well this is the place that I spent the majority of my trip in Denver. As far as a cooking school goes, this place was pretty impressive.
What was a lot of fun is that the instructors had no idea who I was or what my back ground was. And of course I didn't share this with them.
A lot of fun getting them to show me how to cut up a carrot...It was cute.

During the week at the Cook Street school of Culinary mediocrity they would have various classes starting at around 6:30 pm. I think that they did a lot of wine tasting and from what the carrot cutting instructor was saying, "some other really neat stuff".
All kidding aside it seemed that they have a really nice program at Cooks Street. Very spacious and a decent student to instructor ratio. It is also located right across the street from Coors Field. Wish I would have remembered to take a picture of that.

The wood burning oven was pretty cool. They did a bread baking class on night. Although, I don't know how many people in Denver have one of these fancy ovens in their homes. I'll bet that it was really good bread. Posted by Picasa
