Carson's Big trip to Seattle

Really though, when your 1, a trip to the grocery store is a Big Trip.
On March 6th, Carson turned 1 or 12 months old.
We had planned on a trip to Fairbanks to celebrate this milestone with Carson's Palmer Grandparents...lucky break for us...we got to go to Seattle instead.
Carson is now able to walk around on his feet as long as there is something close for him to balance himself against. It really is pretty amazing, 5 months ago you could just put him somewhere and he wouldn't move, now you have to chain him to a wall.
Carson got a brand spanking new "Brothers Drilling" Toque. He seems pretty happy with it. I'm sure he really doesn't know what it is for, but he does know that it comes in pretty handy when you want to play some "pica boo"

forgoing the typical birthday cake...Carson got the Birthday Creme Brulee.
Aunt Christy had some Birthday Cup Cakes made for latter.
