BJ's very fist Sockeye Salmon, or Red Salmon. Arguably the best tasting salmon, due to its very high fat content. Out of the three in our fishing group, myself, Colin Gates, and BJ, Mr. Schaefer limited out (the number of salmon [3] that you are aloud to catch in one day) in 30 minutes. It took Colin and I a whole hour and and a half to limit out. BJ was just showing off I guess.
This is BJ after 10 hours on the not very calm seas of the Gulf of Alaska, 3 hours out of Seward. Booth BJ and I were very very sea sick. We both promised ourselves that we would not be going out on any more deep sea fishing trips anymore.

These sharks can get up to 900 lbs, and it didn't take long to break BJ's line. By the way, that is 100 lbs. test line that we used to catch our halibut.
After a long day of killing salmon and catching enormous Rainbow Trout, or as we seasoned Alaskan fisherman like to call them "Bows" We were all pretty tired and looking forward to a hot dinner and some sleep before we went out on a Halibut charter early the next day.
