During Vic and Olinda's visit to the last frontier (that would be Alaska for all of you who don't know the state song) Vic kept himself busy with all sorts of projects. He built a stool for Nancy to stand on when she has to reach something on the top shelf of the shelves that he built for us.
Between all of the projects that he was working on around our house, he also helped Bob dig an 8 foot hole to install a very large antenna and successfully removed a fireplace insert that has been in place for at least 20 years ( I say successfully because Bob hasn't called me and said that we are in trouble for getting ash all over the house).
I believe that if 60+year old Italian/Canadian men had a dog conversion Vic would be another Larri, except with a "y" instead of an "i". Boundless energy and determination...at 36 I struggled to try and keep up.

Here it is the official unofficial unveiling of Carson's very first Halloween custom...any idea of what it is? Well when Mom picked it up, it was presumed that it was a cow, but upon further investigation it turns out that Carson is going as a Dalmatian. E-mail us your skype account names for our on-line trick or treat tour around the world. Start time will be at approximately 5:30pm Alaska time.
This is the first snow fall for Carson. There hasn't been any accumulation in Anchorage yet, but Mom got about 3 inches out on the "Farm" or "Ranch"(I'm not sure which one is more appropriate, maybe for Christmas I'll get Mom some chickens and a couple of goats...would that make it a farm or a ranch? If we planted some potatoes I suppose that would make it a farm. Better do that before the ground freezes).

Although his hands or feet are still to short to reach any of the pedals, knobs, or steering wheel, you still get the since that Carson was meant to plow snow.
Somewhere someone has a picture of me on my great uncles tractor on his farm in Virgina, i probable had the same look on my face.
Carson was feeling a little under the weather for a couple of days. Last week was his first week with the babysitter. I'm sure that this was also his first encounter with unfamiliar germs and bacteria that his little immune system has not acclimatised to yet. He is feeling much better now and back to his normal happy self...hopefully he will let Nancy and I sleep tonight.
