The fruits of our labor. During the twelve hours that we were at sea, I remember many times wishing that I would just die. Sea sickness is really a horrible thing, I don't recommend it. But after we got back to land and my stomach settled, I'm glad that I went...for the last time. The three of use caught more than our weight in fish. The next day I spent most of it with BJ cutting up halibut and vacuum packing it. Good Times.
Just a typical "Bow" on the Kenai. Beautiful fish.
Yes, there are 11 nice sized, shinny chrome red salmon here. But what I really want to point out is the custom made Sage vst 8 weight fly rod that I built this past winter with the expectation of being able to take such a picture. I cant wait to take more of them.

It took BJ all of ten minutes to master the fly rod, and minutes to haul 3 kenai river sockeye salmon. Posted by Picasa
