Happy Memorial Day.

What a day we had today. Larri, Nancy, and myself slept in until 9am. At which time we were greeted by another beautiful day. Nancy took me to see the new X-Men movie. Which for some reason I new wasn't going to be all that greet, but felt compelled to go see it anyway. The popcorn was better then usual.
After the show we loaded up the "Vista Cruiser" and headed for the Valley, dude. What a beautiful ride just heading out of Anchorage. I would have loved to have posted some of the awesome pictures that I would have taken if I had just remembered to put the damn memory card in the camera.
We drove up to Hatcher Pass and went on a hike on the Gold Mint trail. We had no idea that the trail was an 18 mile round trip. And after about an hour of walking, we ran into a nice couple that clued us into this. Maybe some other day we will finish it.
Larri had a little accident when she was chasing her ball. If you look at the picture below, just below her collar, you can see her scar. She ran into a rock. Of all things to run into she had to run into a ROCK! It doesn't seem to have phased her in the least.
And so as I promised earilier, here is a picture of one of the flower pots that Nancy has decorated our home with. I like them, but Larri doesn't really seem to care one way or the other.
Well, we have to go back to work tomarrow. I wont have another day off for 3 whole days, rediculous! Next weekend I may have a chance to go fishing with my friend from high school, Chris Stratton. This time weather should be a factor since it will most likely be on a lake in the valley...until then, Shine On. Posted by Picasa
